Last Tuesday the topic was hope. Friday it was faith. Today it is love, but not in the same pattern as last week’s posts.
Love is often represented with pictures of the heart. We cannot live if our heart doesn’t function and we cannot live without love.
Today love found me waking in a hotel room strewn with stinky hockey gear. After three days of games, I am embarking on the seven-hour drive home, having spent last night watching the team’s last game that started at 10:30 p.m. and lasted until midnight (we got to bed at 1:30 a.m.).
So, rather than a reflection here is some information about depression’s effect on the heart and vice versa. Below are some links that might be of interest. I looked them up yesterday before the last night game. In brief: treated depression/healthy heart.
